The Linking Rings is one of the most traditional effects in magic.

Now you can present the same kind of effect at any time in close-up, using common elements: safety pins.

It is shown that the pins are solid and that the only way to link them would be opening them, but without doing so the pins links and unlinks magically several times, including at the hands of spectators. At the end the safety pins can be fully examined.
